Both therapy and coaching can offer meaningful support, but they serve different purposes and are governed by different frameworks.
Therapy is a clinical service focused on mental health, healing, and emotional processing. It often involves exploring past experiences, trauma, and patterns that impact your present well-being. Therapy is available only to Virginia residents and is offered under clinical supervision as part of my post-graduate residency toward licensure.
Coaching is non-clinical and available to clients worldwide. It is forward-facing and growth-oriented, supporting you in clarifying your values, reconnecting with your inner wisdom, and making aligned choices. Coaching is ideal for navigating life transitions, burnout, creative blocks, self-trust work, and personal development.
While therapy may address deeper emotional wounds, coaching is a collaborative space for reflection, embodiment, and aligned action. If you're unsure which is right for you, I’m happy to help you explore what kind of support best fits your needs.
I work with adults and older teens navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, relational wounds, and stress that shows up in the body. Many of my clients are thoughtful, sensitive, and seeking meaning or healing at a deeper level.
Sessions are offered in 60- or 90-minute lengths, depending on what feels most supportive. Many people begin with weekly sessions to build momentum, and we’ll check in regularly to adjust the rhythm as your needs evolve.
In-person sessions take place at Alyn Wellness Studio in The Plains, VA—a warm, calming space intentionally designed to feel like a refuge. Virtual sessions are available for Virginia residents seeking therapy, and for coaching clients located anywhere in the world.
60-minute sessions are $140 and 90-minute sessions are $190. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available. Couples session is $190 for 60 minutes.
I don’t bill insurance directly, which allows me to focus more fully on your care—without the limitations that often come with insurance-driven models. While I’m considered an out-of-network provider for therapy, I’m happy to offer a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Coaching sessions are not eligible for insurance reimbursement and are paid for directly at the time of service.
